She is ok girls!!!!! No more markers!! They didn't see anything on her heart or her bowel anymore!! And my integrated testing came back normal!!!
We got to the hospital at 8:30 a.m. and was in the ultrasound room for over an hour. Baby A was being a stinker. They had me walking the halls because she wouldn't cooperate. Finally they were able to get the heart and the bowel. The tech said she has to go and speak with the doctor and right at that moment, my heart sank. I thought for sure she saw something. I cried and it felt like she was gone forever. Hubby kept telling me to keep the faith. She finally came back in and said everything looked great on both babies and they didn't see anything to be worried about. I lost it. I kept thanking her and said thank you God! It was the best moment during this entire pregnancy.
I celebrated by going to my mom's salon and getting my hair highlighted and getting my toenails painted. I have a pedicure scheduled in two weeks. She didn't have enough time to do one tonight. No big deal though. I'll have one in two weeks.
So the girls look great and are growing so fast. They are both 11 ounces now. Measuring right on track! Starting to feel lots of movement now. I can't wait until hubby and the girls can feel it too. It shouldn't be long now.
Oh, and as for names. We still don't have anything yet. This has been really hard because hubby and I are having a hard time agreeing on anything. Plus we change our minds so much. We may not name them until we see their little faces. I'm in no rush. I guess I'll have to come up with nicknames. Let's see, how about baby A can be named punkin and baby B will be peanut. I like that. I'll call them that from now on.
So there you have it! I am two days away from the 20 week mark and I couldn't be happier right now. The OB now has me coming in every two weeks so that makes me feel so much better. My cervix is still going strong. Praise you Lord! Let's see if it can hang on now for another 17 weeks!
I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I sure did!
