Happy Thanksgiving from our home to yours (a few days early)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We all know how bad I have been at blogging so I want to get this in now! :)

May you and yours have a wonderful turkey day! Eat lots of food and don't worry about the calories!!! LOL

What are your plans this year? We are going to my Sister in Laws the first part of the day and then to my mother's house the second. It will be busy but family is very important to me so I would drive anywhere to see all of them. This is the babies first Thanksgiving so I am really excited about feeding them mashed taters and turkey. Knowing them, they will love it. As long as it is people food, they will eat anything. Well, minus steamed carrots and whole peas. They hate those!
Have a wonderful day,
Kami

Update on the girls

Hey everyone. We are still here. Hubby is out of town for the week so things have been hectic. Man, when is it NOT hectic??? Can I just be a stay at home mom please??? :)

The girls are doing wonderful. They will be 10 months next week. It's hard to believe how fast they are growing. I am getting ready to start planning their 1st birthday party. How crazy is that???

Mia-

Mia is such a momma's girl. She wants me to hold her all the time. If I am standing there, I will feel a little tug, look down and see those big blue eyes looking up at me. "Pick me up momma!" She is adorable. She just started getting up on her hands and knees and rocking back and forth. I think she will be crawling before her sister. Sam has been doing the hands and knees thing for a few weeks now and is still not crawling. Mia talks non stop! She is always making some kind of noise. If she doesn't get what she wants, she let's you know. She is the first to wake in the morning and the last to sleep at night. LOL She has eight teeth. Yes, you read that right, EIGHT! She loves music and loves to hide under her covers. She also likes it when we kiss her neck. She giggles and grabs at our head so we can't pull away. It cracks me up. She is still only saying, "Mama and Dada but doesn't put two and two together to know that is us. She is growing like a weed.

Samantha-

Sam is something else!!! That girl is hilarious. She is such a ham. She giggles at everything. If you stand near her, she laughs. If you eat her Cheer.io's, she laughs. If you look at her, she laughs. There is so much laughter that spews out of that little girl, it is amazing! She is laid back just like her daddy. She can sit in your lap and chill for an hour while watching football. Then there are other days where she is on the go. She is army crawling and getting up on her side. She can't quite get all the way up but she tries. She has four teeth and eats like a bird. She is very picky with what she eats right now. I wonder if it is her teeth coming in? Hmmm..... She loves music too and she does this little noise that sounds like, "Coo..." in a high pitch voice. It is the sweetest little thing. I can make that noise and she repeats me. I love it! She still has a slight tilt from her torticollis. The physical therapist is hoping as she starts to pull up and walk that it will straighten even more. Her head is still pretty lopsided but the neurologist says that will get better too. I sure hope so. She's beautiful no matter what though.

Mommy-

I am doing the best I can with what I have to deal with on a daily basis. I am dying to be a stay at home mom. I miss my girls so bad. I feel like my sitter gets more time with them than I do and honestly, that is the truth. I went into their bedroom yesterday morning and they smiled when I walked in. My sitter walks in and they squealed with delight. It broke my heart. I should be home with them. They are my children. Hopefully soon. I pray about it all the time. We absolutely love our new house. It is in a beautiful neighborhood. We are only six minutes from my step daughters so that makes it even better. My husband is in better spirits since we have moved. That's a plus too! I keep bringing up baby #3 and hubby is still against it. I know we can't afford it and really, we don't have the room either. If it is God's will, then it will be done. If not, I am truly blessed with the two I have. Everything is well in the Murphy household. Praise be to God!

1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. 3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. 5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100:3

This one is my absolute favorite. Mia was laughing so hard she threw her head back and you can see her little teeth. It's weird to see all those teeth in such a small human being. LOL
